Global warming is a topic that circulates the news daily. It is important to understand how it affects skin and, in turn, both the professional and the client. Learning more about what is going on in the world allows spa businesses to make a difference.

GLOBAL WARMING 

Global warming refers to the rise in global temperatures mainly due to the increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Climate change refers to the increasing changes in the measures of climate over a long period of time, including precipitation, temperature, and wind patterns.1 Global warming effects the masses through rising temperatures, melting glaciers, pollution, increasing forest fires, warming oceans, and the list goes on. These then lead to effected food and water supply, health, environment, and infrastructure.
