HUMAN RESOURCES

AIA’s list of human resources seems limitless. We’ve been building relationships with hundreds of educators throughout our 50 years; this allows members the privilege of their expertise. Do you have questions about a client with problematic skin or want more information about a specific facial chair? We can connect you with the right person or company.

The Membership Director is your contact for questions about your benefits or membership details. The membership director is responsible for AIA member services, including updating certificates and subscriber services for DERMASCOPE.

DERMASCOPE Magazine has inducted our grass roots educators as role models. This elite group of people is AIA’s Academy of Legends. The mission of the Academy of Legends is to uphold the leadership of our industry as mentors and role models for educating, empowering, and advancing our profession. Legend status is granted by the contribution and exemplary achievements he or she has made to our industry. Legend inductees are granted lifetime membership into AIA and are asked to continuously share their knowledge and passion with the Board of Directors and be accessible to the AIA membership-at-large.

The Board of Advisors are elected members who represent the skin care industry. The purpose of the Board of Advisors is to consult with the Board of Directors and offer them information from around the country. The Board of Advisors are also asked to serve as role models, mentors, and sources for information to the AIA community-at-large. During their term, they are asked to play an active role on the DERMASCOPE discussion forum and to write articles for DERMASCOPE Magazine.

The DERMASCOPE Ambassadors are the public relations and recruitment committee on behalf of the magazine and AIA. This extensive group of talented individuals consists of members of the industry’s educators, manufacturers, distributors, consultants, and spa owners. The role, much like the Board of Advisors, is to serve as mentors and resources to the community-at-large and to constantly be representatives and promoters of AIA and the aesthetic industry as a whole.
