As spa services begin to get stale, spa owners and aestheticians need to look at ways to be more innovative in the treatment room. One way to be more competitive is by adding services where you can use your skills as a professional without only working above the shoulders. Here are some creative treatments that can help increase spa revenue and keep the client coming back for more.

INTIMATE LIGHTENING TREATMENT

Intimate lightening or brightening is not limited to only the intimate areas; this service can be performed anywhere the client’s skin needs to be lightened. The most common areas to service are the underarms, intergluteal cleft, inner thigh, and even the knees and elbows. Most intimate discoloration occurs from friction, such as rubbing or shaving, and aluminum-based deodorants can also contribute.
