There are hundreds of underground salt mines and caves across the globe, with the 10 largest located in Columbia, Germany, Peru, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Poland, Chile, Pakistan, and Ontario. Marine salts, on the other hand, span the Dead Sea shared between Israel, Palestine, and Jordan, the Salt Lake in Utah, Laguna Cejas in Chile, the Pink Salt Lake in Spain, and many places in between. It is evident that the planet boasts breath-taking (pun intended) salt deposits ranging in color from white to pale pink to light gray.
