If you just talk about the existing types and trends of illustration then you will notice how these types have changed over the years. Not every illustration style is said to stick for years as some can be only occasional trends. However, if someone wants an illustration for branding purposes then relying on trends actually does matter. Now custom portrait illustration designs are existing in a digital format, which was not possible a few decades ago. So you can somewhat see what has changed and what has not. To me, these changes are due to technological advancements. What about you?
