Christine Schrammek-Drusio| Dermatologist, Allergist and Anti-aging Expert

Dr. med. Christine Schrammek-Drusio was born in Poland. At the age of 11, she relocated to Essen, Germany, where her mother, Christine Schrammek, laid the foundation for the company. Inspired by her mother, Christine graduated from her medical studies with a focus on dermatology. She then worked in a skin clinic for several years before opening her own practice. During that time, she was already collaborating with her mother, and that is where the desire was born to combine dermatology with cosmetics.

logoI have been in the aesthetics industry for 26 years, originally joining the company in 1988 as the managing director. After my mother left the company over 10 years ago, I also took over the management of the professional school for dermatological cosmetics and the International Advanced Training Center. My son joined the company in 2013, and since then, I have been able to devote myself wholeheartedly to my passion: product development. My personal goal was always to create a connection between cosmetics and dermatology. I wanted to help people with skin problems as well as give everybody the best skin care for healthy and beautiful looking skin – that is how the skin care range derma.cosmetics was born. I am constantly visiting medial seminars and reading research articles to stay current on the latest developments in the field. During my travels, I am also dedicated to market research. I spend a lot of time finding new, effective ingredients that can be combined with proven ones. As a passionate outdoors person, I spend a lot of time in nature to relax, gather new ideas, and become inspired. Nature often provides the best ideas. While developing products, I feel that the quality of the product takes top priority. This starts with the extremely meticulous selection of ingredients and continues right down to the final quality checks. People worldwide are stressed, have allergies, and long for a break. while trends come and go, I have learned that when your products stay true to what they promise, your customers stay true to you. Medically inspired products are definitely trending but I also see a popular trend that I call back to nature or back to the roots. In the cosmetic industry, it is important to be flexible and keep up-to-date. Staying true to my life motto has always helped me here: “Learn from the past, dream of the future, live in the present.”
