Bio-Therapeutic partners with Mary’s Place-
because “no one’s child should sleep outside.

Seattle based technology innovator (and local manufacturer) Bio-Therapeutic has just announced a partnership with local shelter organization Mary’s Place, which provides safe, inclusive shelter and services that support women, children and families on their journey out of homelessness. Bio-Therapeutic, a leading
provider of high end equipment and products to the skin care industry, is donating a literal truckload of personal protective equipment, skin care products and other supplies to help Mary’s Place further their mission of helping families experiencing homeless seek shelter, support and safety.

“We’ve supported Mary’s Place for a number of years because of their emphasis on directly benefiting families in a wholistic way, but given the ongoing economic and housing crises as Seattle struggles with the fallout of COVID-19, we felt it was time to really increase our involvement,” says David Suzuki, owner and CEO of BioTherapeutic.

Mary’s Place operates five family centers in the Seattle area, along with a women’s day center and mobile outreach unit, offering shelter, housing services, employment services and health assistance while allowing struggling families to stay together. Mary’s Place is one of the only centers that doesn’t separate families,
allowing them to find strength in each other while getting the support that they need. Mary's Place has 500 beds available, and they are generally full every night.
“This gift of love and self-care is life changing for our guests”, said Marty Hartman, Mary’s Place Executive Director. “Feeling and looking well builds self-confidence and gives hope. We’re so grateful for this gift of love and support and our growing partnership with Bio-Therapeutic!”
In addition to the immediate needs of overnight shelter, a place to shower and do laundry, Mary’s Place is a vibrant community for families to rebuild their lives, support each other, gain new skills and a sense of belonging. With the closer partnership with Bio-Therapeutic, Mary’s Place will now have access to industry
leading personal protective gear, as well as a number of skin care essentials to help their guests rebuild their self esteem through self care.
