Offering retail products that your clients can use in between waxes is a great way to improve the results of a wax, keeping them coming back again and again.
POST-WAX PROCEDURES
Post-waxing care is an important step to never skip when establishing a service protocol. For example, cleansing skin post-waxing will help close the hair follicles and further soothe their skin. Once skin has been cleansed, you should then apply a post-wax lotion with tea tree or aloe vera.
Additionally, it can be helpful to apply an ingrown treatment like a spray to reduce the chances of ingrown hairs occurring once the service is finished. Sprays are quick and easy to apply, especially in larger areas, and can also be sold as retail products after the service. This product should also contain the targeted ingredient of salicylic acid to be highly effective.
