Men may be from Mars and women from may be from Venus, but when it comes to skin care and aging, they share the same planet. One of the differences between men and women is that men are more discreet and quiet about their fear of aging. Fine lines, wrinkles, gray hair, and ingrown hairs (due to shaving) are some of the common concerns that men have.
The men with the most concerns are over the age of 35, as younger men still feel strong and invincible. As a result, younger men do not experience worries or anxiety about aging and tend to stick more to body waxing, as they frequently attend pool or beach parties and seek the next available female or male.
Due to testosterone, men tend to have oily skin and large pores with a high concentration of blackheads. These imperfections tend to terrify the general audience. Furthermore, the average man does little to care for his skin, relying on a bar of soap and water to magically erase skin imperfections. Furthermore, grooming companies have also spoiled these men by making cleaning even easier for them; a shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all in one is a truly terrifying product only a man can invent. It cannot get any easier for them. However, any skin care savvy person knows that this is all wrong! Keeping grooming products separate is a must. The thought of using the same wash on the face that was just slathered everywhere else on the body does not sound appealing.
Step-By-Step Procedure
1. Cleanse the skin with a gel or milky cleanser, focusing on the face, neck, and behind the ears.
3. Begin the treatment by doing two passes of microdermabrasion to the entire face, including under the eye and the beard area to target razor burn and ingrown hairs. Most men tend to make many mistakes when it comes to shaving, including not changing the blade, which gets dull and irritates the skin.
5. In a manner that is similar to that of a barber, use hot towels to wrap their face. Leave a pre-extraction mask on the skin for 10 minutes to make the skin soft and pliable for better
pore purging.
6. During the masking, massage the shoulders, arms, and hands for a destressing effect.
7. After 10 minutes, perform an extraction and be sure that no pore is left untouched. Check every single pore, including the ear lobes and behind the ears, as these important areas tend to go unnoticed by most skin care professionals.
Apply a hydrating mask to give the skin a boost of moisture.
9. After leaving it on for about 10 minutes for better absorption, remove the mask.
10.To end the treatment, apply a gentle fruit acid peel to the face and neck. The client should leave the spa with this peel on until they shower for longer-lasting benefits.
With the combination of microdermabrasion, extraction, and a fruit acid peel, the skin will be clean from the outside in and the inside out, leaving the client feeling handsome and ready to face the world.
