Scientific Communications Manager for The International Dermal Institute (IDI) Claudia Aguirre, Ph.D., recently addressed more than 90 licensed skin therapists who attend advanced classes at IDI as well as local Dermalogica accounts. Aguirre’s presentation addressed a wellness topic that plays a critical role in skin care education: the effect of nutrition on the skin. Her presentation explored the interaction of various vitamins with the cellular responses in the skin, as well as other aspects of diet and metabolism upon skin vitality.
