The stem word “halo” comes from the Greek prefix meaning salt. Halotherapy uses this crystalline mineral as a touchless treatment alongside sound, color, and light therapy. Halotherapy has both physiological and psychosocial implications, with benefits ranging from questionable to quantitative.

It is evident that the planet boasts breath-taking (pun intended) salt deposits ranging in color from white to pale pink to light gray.
