Progress as One

Well, here we all are! May. I love it – and I hope each of you are surrounded by blooming summer flowers. One of the things that I love about May is that regardless of where you are in the world, May is a month of early blooms, new blooms, and regenerating blooms. There is nothing quite like it.

It is the absolute ideal month to focus on trends and ingredients around the world because the month of May holds a commonality to the aesthetics profession. At any given time, no matter where someone is in the world, the skin care profession is growing, emerging, evolving, and flourishing. We never stop with the newness. The new blooms bring advancement and substantiation to what we do.

Things may not always be exactly the same, but the process is. From Southeast Asia to the United States and Europe, at any given time, companies, manufacturers, and aestheticians alike are pushing the limits and opening new doors to advancing health, wellness, and beauty for everyone around the world. Again, there is nothing quite like it, which brings me to my real message and the point of this welcome.

With all of the chaos, upheaval, and bizarre happenings in the world, we are one. Our profession is one. Everyone in it is one. Regardless of whether they manufacture, distribute, educate, or treat, we are one.

We represent one of the few consistencies in the world. We are a mass of individuals around the world, united in a profession of ever-changing progress in the never-ending search of the betterment of ourselves, our businesses, our success, and every single one of our clients.

There is nothing quite like it.
