The annual Professional Hair Removal Conference (PHRC) was started by DERMASCOPE Magazine and Les Nouvelle Esthetique & Spa in 2001 as a place to offer generic continuing education to all hair removal professionals. PHRC is held in Miami, Florida and Dallas, Texas (in conjunction with the International Congress of Esthetics & Spa). By holding the conference with the I.C.E.S. tradeshows, we not only offer generic continuing education – but also a place for networking with like-minded professionals. It also acts as a place to see and test out the latest products and machines that are on the market today.

The Professional Hair Removal Conference offers classes such as state required sanitation, blood borne pathogens, prevention of medical errors, and case studies and skin disorders. Other classes offered are geared towards growing your hair removal practice, networking, referrals, laser and light-based tissue interaction, expected outcomes and possible adverse reactions, and using needle-type epilators to compliment laser hair removal devices, amongst many other relevant topics for all professional hair removal specialists.
PHRC also brings in several sponsors each year that offer an array of new techniques, machines and ideas, as well as professional associations. By having sponsors onsite, it offers the attendees a chance to get a live demonstration and to have any questions they may have about answered.
The Professional Hair Removal Conference lectures are state approved continuing education classes through SCMHR (Society for Clinical & Medical Hair Removal).
