"Labeling compliance is more important than ever. The FDA takes it very seriously and can prevent products from ever coming to market because of a misleading statement, health claim, incorrect drug or nutrition facts panel, or wrongly named ingredient," said Benjamin England, founder and CEO of FDAImports.com.
Recently, a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) consulting firm, FDAImports.com, has launched five new labeling websites that allow companies with products that are regulated by the FDA to receive a label review in order to identify any compliance issues with their product label.
Through their new streamlined process users can now easily upload their label files for free, receive a reasonable and flat-rate estimate, pay online, and then receive an easy to understand label review report in as little as three days. In addition, the report gives a detailed review of the product label, making sure to point out what is and is not complaint, and what should be changed to keep the company from experiencing problems with the FDA. But, that is not all! The report takes it a step farther by going into the regulatory background behind the suggested recommendations so that companies can avoid making the same mistake on future product labels. The new labeling websites are:
