Social media platforms and renowned makeup artists have been buzzing with tips and tricks to achieve “glass skin” looks, emulating the effortless looking “poreless” beauty that grazes the red carpet. Yahoo Finance reported that the viral trend “has earned more than 20 million views on TikTok” with no signs of slowing down.4 During 2021, beauty influencers attempted to one-up this trend by coining the phrase dolphin skin, but it didn’t stick quite the same.
