Philippe Therene, founder of Spa Equip, Inc., has been named as a recipient of the Innovate Award by the International Spa Association. Therene is being honored with this award for his innovative non-profit program, The Gift of Spa. The program provides spa services to people in need who might otherwise never experience the healing benefits of spa treatments. Spas who choose to participate receive an annual two percent reimbursement of their total purchases, which they will in turn match to total four percent and provide spa services of equal value to a local charity of their choice.
