Blueberries are produced from the blueberry-flowering shrub and are one of the most nutrient-dense berries. One cup of blueberries contain 24 percent of the daily value of vitamin C and 36 percent of the daily value of vitamin K.

Believed to contain the highest antioxidant capacity of all typically consumed fruits and vegetables, the blueberry reduces DNA damage, protecting against aging.
