DERMASCOPE is introducing many new features in 2018 – a new website, new departments, new designs, new article themes… But I must admit that there is one fresh feature for 2018 that I have hardly been able to keep quiet about: our new editorial advisory board! We have had several advisory boards in the past, but, this time around, I have re-written the script and will be bringing you real time professional help, as well as a council to guide our editorial content.

DERMASCOPE has enlisted the help of 13 industry-leading professionals to support and guide our online aesthetic community, as well as the articles we publish, maintaining the quality of the content we provide to the industry. The DERMASCOPE editorial advisory board members are internationally renowned and active in their dedicated fields, providing undeniable talent and skillfulness to our readership – both in print and on our website. Throughout the year, readers will see these professionals contributing editorially, engaging with users on DERMASCOPE.com, administering advice, and offering expertise in their specialized areas. They will also be available to network and mentor through the DERMASCOPE Online Community.

With a detailed list in our staff box on page 16, you can learn a little about our editorial advisory board and staff members each month. We will bring you information about their background, anecdotes about what brought them success, and personal stories that you can relate to. Since this will be an ever-expanding resource for you, keep an eye out for more members joining the board throughout the year!

The editorial advisory board members are here to help and provide guidance to professionals in need. If you would like to reach out to any of the editorial advisory board members, simply go online to DERMASCOPE.com and join the Community. You can also send an e-mail to editorial@dermascope.com and label the subject line with the board member’s name. We will follow up and get you connected to the people and answers you seek. We look forward to hearing from you!

Happy New Year!
