Our philosophy of skin care started in 1995 when the scientific team of Gül and Robert Zone decided to apply their combined experience in biochemistry and biomedical engineering, respectively, to design a formulary and manufacturing process. Their approach was to focus on skin as an organ system and recognize that certain biochemical pathways within skin can be activated with bio-molecular messengers to rejuvenate, increase hydration, reduce inflammation and control oil production. They developed Dermaware‘s signature Bio-Targeted® delivery systems to transport novel peptides, stem cells, growth factors, vitamin therapies, resurfacing peels, nutrient rich minerals and novel botanicals to specific skin targets.
