One of the greatest lessons that a small business needs to understand now more than ever is the power of a network. Often, the thought of collaboration with other local businesses is not at the forefront of owning a small business. I consider this a misstep. After owning a holistic medical spa for several years, I have cultivated a small network of incredible wellness practitioners that work closely with my business. Our collaboration is an amazingly supportive and uplifting experience, and I often sit in awe of our incredible success.
I firmly believe that when owning a small business, networking with other local establishments is essential. It solidifies your company within the community, adds credibility to your craft as a spa practitioner, and introduces your services to an entirely new market of potential clientele. Once these business relationships are established, it is important to utilize them to benefit both businesses. Yet, how do we find and, more importantly, develop these relationships?
