April Zangl has been HydroPeptide’s CEO and co-formulator since 2004 and works closely with HydroPeptide’s Scientific Advisory Board in researching new peptides and their benefits.

She holds a bachelor of science degree in health and wellness promotion from Brigham Young University. She is a mother of three young children and enjoys kickboxing and competing in marathons in her spare time.

I have been HydroPeptide’s CEO and co-formulator since day one! I have always accepted the fact that being HydroPeptide’s CEO and co-formulator is an ever-evolving role. Having that mindset has helped the team and me stay focused on growth and what is best for the brand, from both day-to-day and future perspectives. I have been in the aesthetics industry now for 10 years. A constant theme throughout my career has been being persistent. Focusing on the big picture has enabled me to become successful. I have a pulse on public relations, marketing, and operations, but I do not have to know the finer details – just enough to manage everyone and know how everything connects. I also know when to jump in with a more hands-on approach. To stay relevant in the industry, my company pays attention to spa industry trends and tries to learn from competitor brands, but you cannot skate by on imitation alone. HydroPeptide is here to innovate and offer the spa industry and their clients a unique and transformative experience. HydroPeptide takes pride in mutually-beneficial partnerships with the world’s most luxurious spas and dermatological practices. We understand that when their business grows, our business does, too. We want them to be as successful as possible. The first upcoming trend I see is the never-ending competition for the product with the cleanest ingredient list that produces the most dramatic results and comes in the most beautiful packaging. Responding to these trends has also elevated HydroPeptide into the practices of the world’s most trusted dermatologists. What separates the best establishments from the rest is a combination of impeccable customer service, a unique facility and treatment offering, staying on top of trends, and not being afraid to step out and be the trendsetter sometimes. I am not sure if I can really boil down to a specific moment where I decided this career was for me, but I have always looked for a balance between my practical side and the part of me that is more of a dreamer. Family is a priority for me and when I am not working, I enjoy spending time with them. I am still trying to find the perfect balance in life!
