Meet the presenters - Patrick Johnson and Pam Cushing!
Patrick Johnson is the CEO and president of BioPhotas Inc. and the inventor of the award-winning Celluma SERIES of Light Therapy devices. With an extensive background in the medical device industry, Johnson saw the potential for bringing the significant therapeutic benefits of low-level light therapy affordably to the masses, leading to the creation of Celluma. Prior to BioPhotas, his leadership experience includes 10 years with Pro-Dex, Inc., a publicly held medical device manufacturer, serving in the roles of chief business development officer, CEO and president, and board member. In early 2010, Johnson started a humanitarian relief organization, The World Bed Project. The charter of this organization was to build strategic alliances with government, NGOs, corporations, and individuals to bring badly needed relief to Haiti in the aftermath of the earthquake. Johnson now speaks internationally and writes extensively on the science and therapeutic benefits of low-level light therapy.
Pam Cushing, RN, MSc, PGDip (AM), NIP, has over 15 years of clinical experience in aesthetic medicine and 30 years as senior consultant nurse in the NHS. She holds a master’s degree, as well as a postgraduate diploma in aesthetic medicine. She is vice president of the Society of Mesotherapy and Consultant Educator in Skin Science. Cushing is founder and director of an independent training academy, as well as a successful aesthetics clinic. As an excellent mentor and inspirational role model, she is a highly respected international educator in all aspects of skin care and a diverse range of aesthetic treatments.
