Season in the Sun: The Guide to Safe Sun Care

I have a love-hate relationship with the sun. I love the sun’s warmth on a bright summer day and watching the sunset over the ocean. What is troubling is the damage it has caused my skin over the years. As an aesthetician who has had skin cancer twice, I know all too well the damage ultraviolet rays cause on skin. Ultraviolet rays can cause damage, including both short-term and long-term effects, but there are preventive measures you can take against sun damage and ingredients and treatments for photoaged skin.
