The Global Spa & Wellness Summit (GSWS) recently announced the winners of its inaugural Spa and Wellness Infographic Competition, which offered a new opportunity for people around the world to become engaged with the GSWS. The top honor was awarded to Lori Hutchinson, founder and co-owner of Hutchinson Consulting, a California-based hospitality-recruiting firm, for her infographic titled You Would Love a Spa Career.

Phytomer was recently honored and recognized by the International SPA Association with the presentation of the ISPA Innovate Award for the use of a natural filtration garden to responsibly treat water waste from the cosmetic manufacturing process. The filtration garden uses three tiers of indigenous plants which contain enzymes and bacteria that naturally filter and remove pollution from the water.
