Port Saint Lucie, Florida- The National Aesthetic Spa Network is an exciting resource for estheticians, spa owners and beauty professionals. The organization offers free membership by opening a PRO account. Members can access career tools, exclusive discounts, business grant/award and national educational conferences, which has been approved by the Commission of Education to offer continuing education for 2020.

We are honored to announce the 2019 recipient of the $1000.00 Business Award is esthetician and instructor, Lisa Esquivel Clark. With over 150 applications, Clark’s essay captured the attention of the NASNPRO advisory board. Her dedication to education and passion showed when she shared how she petitioned the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners to allow estheticians to be able to perform lash lifting. After submitting, a 10- page petition for a declaratory ruling, she prevailed and on May 6, 2019 estheticians are legally able to perform them. She is going to be using her award to upgrade her classroom with updated treatment tables, lighting, manuals and tools needed for success. She wants to provide real world education for all licensed professionals to become better educated and more successful. We applaud her endeavors and wish her continued success!
