Founded in 1946 in Brussels, Belgium with the head office in Zurich, Switzerland, Comité International d’Esthétique et de Cosmétologie – CIDESCO is the world standard for beauty and spa therapy. This year marks the Diamond Jubilee of CIDESCO International – the 75th anniversary of the association.
Their membership is open to leading schools, colleges, and beauty spas of the world, where students are looking to achieve a superior level of training and the CIDESCO diploma qualification, which is recognized worldwide.
There is a need for an international organization like CIDESCO in order to establish and uphold the highest standards of beauty and spa therapy throughout the world. This is important in regard to safety, quality, and unification of the treatments worldwide. Learning from one another on an international level promotes the exchange of professional knowledge, new developments, and information through regular marketing activities, networking events, and at the annual International World Congress. When individuals learn from each other, their education brings wisdom and standards with quality improvements.
