    I learned this from my teacher in electrology school: After electrology, I always do cataphoresis on the area worked on to close the pours, replenish the skin, speed up the healing process - so many benefits to cataphoresis. However, when I do electrology on the face, I was taught to apply the special positive ion blend of the client's choice (smell appears to be a factor in the client's preference) to the face and placing a gauze mask over and doing cataphoresis over the mask. The effect of cataphoresis and the active ingredients of the product penetrate deep into the skin while closing pours, rejuvenating the skin, relaxing the client, adding aroma therapy, and making the overall experience most enjoyable and remembered.
