Hi All - would like to share my thoughts on this.

Hyperpigmentation is a common, usually harmless condition in which patches of skin become darker in color than the normal surrounding skin. Hyperpigmentation gets produced because of excessive production of a substance called melanin which causes dark spots on the skin. The three main types of hyperpigmentation include: post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), melasma, and sun damage. I used tretinoin for a while and my skin broke out so badly, it was literally peeling off, very bad!
Looking for better skin, I stopped it completely. You can try a non-prescription Retin-A that's not going to be so harsh on your skin.

Here are other alternatives to tretinoin and other Retin-A:

It depends on your skin needs. For an acne treatment, for example, visiting a derm every 3-months is very common. For anti-aging usually, monthly visits for treatments are common. If it's just for check-ups, once or twice a year is enough.

There isn’t any fixed regular interval. It depends on the dermatologist and your skin care treatment plan. You may see the best result from small, consistent efforts. It would be the best to take advice from your dermatologist, he/she will be the best person who can tell you about the same.

Hi All - would like contribute from my end on this topic.

There are various tips or I would say all time prevention methods which can be used for anti-aging.

1. Quit Smoking
2. Eat food full of antioxidants
3. Eat food full of protein
4. Check sugar levels regularly
5. Sleep well
6. Excercise
7. Managing stress
8. Wash for your face
9. Use sunscreen
10. Visit a dermatologist regularly

If you seek any consultation, then I would suggest you to visit Kaya Skin Clinic for anti aging treatment . Visit them if you want to know more about them or the their service/products.
