The changes from Senate Bill 1170 include the replacement of the term "facialist" with "esthetician."
If you are a licensed facialist, facialist instructor, facialist booth renter, or facialist salon owner, you will be issued an esthetician replacement license on August 25, 2011. This license will be issued at no cost to you so that your license reflects the new terminology.
Your mailing address on file with TDLR must be correct by August 25, 2011 so that you can receive your FREE replacement license.
