Bettylou McIntosh, co-founder of CosMedix, passed away on Thursday, July 13th, 2013. Making an early impact in the skin care industry, McIntosh knew that better skin health depended as much on education as it did on scientific innovation. Together with business partner and friend Flo McRae, McIntosh pushed the envelope for what natural, plant-based products could achieve. By combining high-quality ingredients with chiral correction technology, the two co-founded a groundbreaking line that delivered professional-grade results without the irritation or downtime of many professional products at the time. As a champion for education, McIntosh challenged a generation of professionals to rethink the power of natural skin care.
