Waxes are great for hair removal, after applying skin is very soft.

I'm still a student (can you say super newbie?!) but I'm loving every minute of it and can't wait to get out in the field. Here in Texas we are taught with both the hard and strip wax...just has the majority of you said I find hard wax easier and less painful on the bikini, underarms, and other smaller areas. I believe the strip wax is used on larger areas because you use less product. I love the cirepil blue wax, but we must purchase it ourselves as the school I attend only supplies us with satin smooth (not bad, but not the best I've used either). Hope y'all have plenty of tips for me in the future!

agedog1, the spa I work at uses Nufree for our soft wax. It's a bit thicker than some other strip wax I've used in the past. It took a little while to get used to the application but I like it. It melts at a cooler temp than most strips wax and the soy based product is suppose to be more gentle.

Anyone actually used any of the "Nufree" products? I've read about them but never heard anyone talk about them. Any info appreciated.

When I was in school they only taught us soft wax for all areas, but fortunatly I came from an area that did a lot of brazilian waxing so I was quickly taught how to use hard wax by a co worker and she was awesome at waxing. I now never use soft wax on any delicate area (bikini, face, underarms) and I have so many loyal waxing clients because they say it doesn't hurt like the other places that use soft wax. I prefer ceripil blue also it really is easy to use. It does cost more but it is well worth it.
