Each year there are more than 3 million new cases of skin cancer diagnosed in the United States. Daily use of sunscreen, along with other photoprotective strategies, have shown to effectively reduce the risk of skin cancer and prevent signs of skin aging. Despite decades of ongoing education, there are still numerous myths accepted for truth regarding sunscreen. In this webinar, Dr. Wang will address common questions and misconceptions about the safety and efficacy of sunscreens. He will also discuss treating sun damage and the importance of aestheticians and dermatologists working together to address clients’ sun care needs.
