The Murad Family Foundation announced that they have formed a partnership with the El Segundo Education Foundation to be the founding sponsor of Project Lead the Way: Biomedical Sciences Pathway at El Segundo High School. Throughout the course of the four-year sponsorship, Murad Family Foundation will donate up to $180,000. Students will learn the concepts of human medicine and bioinformatics through hands-on, real-world problem solving activities such as dissecting with the curriculum increasing in rigor and intensity each year, building upon the previous knowledge and skills acquired. The curriculum also challenges students to explore prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
