In 2005, Michelle De Leon was burned by a laser administered by a licensed health professional in a plastic surgeon’s office. By 2006, she was finishing aesthetics school as a young, single mom trying to find her way. Passionate and driven, she knew she could do better. De Leon has worked as a technician, manager, owner, and partner and was influential in establishing the success of one of the nation’s first laser training programs in Dallas, Texas. She also founded her own school, Aesthetic Laser Academy. Today, De Leon lives in Miami, Florida and travels nationwide to provide motivational speeches, hands-on training, independent medical spa consulting, and aesthetic injectable seminars.
