At-home exfoliation is one of the most important steps your clients can do to ensure lasting results from their wax service. Exfoliating skin involves removing the layer of old skin cells from skin’s surface, allowing the newer layer to be exposed. Not only can exfoliation help keep skin looking and feeling healthy, but it can minimize the chances of developing certain skin concerns like ingrown hairs. There are different methods to exfoliate skin, including a manual scrub to gently rub skin or with the help of a device. Additionally, there are exfoliating products such as mitts that can increase exfoliation and help to fully smooth skin and remove the old skin cells.
