Overdue for Therapy

Written by

Call off the search team – I have found the answer to relatively instant, radiant skin. While this summarizes my recent visit to a skin revision training class, DMK describes their enzyme therapy a little differently – restoring skin to its peak condition.

As the DMK, now-certified, aesthetician began examining my face, she inquired about my skin troubles and started concocting a plan of revision before the transfer-messenger enzymes could work their magic. I was brushed with a milk cleanser that soothed my red, dry cheeks, dusted with an antibacterial powder, and sealed with an exfoliant. It was time to begin the therapy I had been anticipating.

Suddenly, I was enveloped from chest to hairline by this whipped mixture that hardened astonishingly quickly. As each of the 45 minutes passed, I felt blood rush to the points of interest covered by the mask. I was told that I would feel my heartbeat in the center of my face, but I was still not prepared to handle the flush that left the rest of my body, thankful for the white linens that were wrapped over me. I grew itchy in my neck and chest but was reassured it meant was I overdo for this therapy.

Removing the mask involved at least two cleanses, while warm towels wiped away the hardened layers of the treatment to reveal hydrated, invigorated skin. My blemishes were minimized, my skin tone was more even, and the redness in my cheeks had dulled. Needless to say, it was a successful afternoon.

Even though one treatment cannot do the work of years of a sensible skin care routine, it can revitalize the areas of concern that seem much more evident as the years run by. Think of it as a kickstarter to better skin. This treatment may require patience, but it is worth the time.
