Why is your primary skin care brand your ultimate go-to, and how has it helped you become one of the best professionals in the industry?
I carry three medical-grade skin care lines at Glow Up Aesthetics. Jan Marini, Senté, and SkinBetter. I love mixing and matching all three lines to build each of my clients their own custom, regimen tailored specifically to each of their skin types, needs, and goals. However, SkinBetter has become the primary and most popular line. It has a variety of products, from dry, dull, breakout-prone, and aging skin. I have had amazing results with SkinBetter, and my clients love the way it makes their skin glow.
Why did you choose the brand and how did you find out about them?
I chose SkinBetter because it is medical-grade, scientifically advanced, and there is a product for each and every one of my clients to help them reach and maintain their skin goals.
How do you stay educated with this brand?
SkinBetter offers monthly educational webinars for each provider and their team to stay ahead of new products being released while providing samples of each product to try for ourselves.
What benefits do your clients see from using the retail of the brand?
I truly believe 80% of your skin care is homecare and 20% is what I can do for you with in-spa monthly treatments. By using a customized home regimen, my clients typically notice an overall even skin tone, less breakouts, smoother texture, and a healthy glow within the first two weeks of using their recommended SkinBetter products.
How do you promote yourself and the brand?
Most of my marketing is done through social media, such as Instagram, Facebook, and word of mouth. We have an affiliate link through SkinBetter for those clients out-of-state or unable to make it into the suite to purchase. I also try to post relative photos of each SkinBetter product on Instagram and Facebook to educate my clients and social media following on what each product does, its key ingredients, and what skin type each product would work best for.
Besides working with the brand, what else has helped you become one of the best?
My amazing following and clientele has made me who I am today professionally. None of what I do would be possible without them believing in me and trusting me with their skin. My passion for medical-grade skin care and clinical treatments versus spa treatments has also made a huge impact on my career. I have had some amazing transformations.
What is your educational background, and how do you continue your education in the industry?
I graduated from Penrose Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2016 for aesthetics and received my laser certification from NALA Institute in 2018. Besides my licensing and certifications, I have been trained hands-on with each skin care device provider and product line carried at Glow Up Aesthetics by their appointed representatives.
How long have you been practicing and why did you choose this field?
I have been working in the industry for three and a half years now, and I originally chose this field because I watched my grandmother perform aesthetics my entire life. I have always looked up to her and wanted to follow in her footsteps. I have always had a passion for helping others and for all things beauty, so I knew this was the perfect field for me to help others feel beautiful and confident in their skin.
How do you give back to the industry or community?
I give back to the industry by speaking to the up and coming aesthetic students at Penrose Academy (where I graduated four years ago) about my journey in the field and how I started Glow Up Aesthetics. I also try my best to answer any and all questions I get on social media from other aestheticians as well.

SkinBetter Even Tone Correcting Serum keeps my skin tone even by breaking up hyperpigmentation and brightening the skin without hydroquinone. It is perfect to use during the summer and in between peel season to keep the sun damage and pigment at bay.
SkinBetter Alto Defense Serum is my favorite vitamin C serum. It combines vitamin C and E plus 17 additional antioxidant ingredients to improve vitality, protect the skin against free radicals, and reduce redness.
Jan Marini Bioclear is my holy grail product. I use this morning and night daily to improve texture, pore size, congestion, and gently resurface the skin. I have seen the biggest difference in my skin since using this product.
Senté Dermal Repair Cream is my go-to moisturizer for myself and the majority of my clients. Not only does it hydrate the skin, but it improves pigment and redness while repairing the barrier of the skin. Perfect to use every day and especially during downtime treatments, such as microneedling and chemical peels to speed up the healing process.
