Chloride

Minerals are among the most important elements needed by the body. They are directly and indirectly involved in every bodily and skin process. Along with amino acids (protein), minerals are the basic building blocks of every cell in the body. RNA/DNA, the blueprints to each cell, does not function properly without certain minerals. Enzymes will not form nor function properly without the minerals they require to do so. Minerals are also required for the correct composition and ratio of body fluids, the formation of both our blood and our bones and the creation and maintenance of healthy nerve function.

The Digestive System: Mental and Physical Processing

Once upon a time in a far away universe there was a popular principle called "body wisdom – intuition", which meant that our bodies would tell us which foods we needed- as long as we learn to listen. Paying consideration to your "gut feeling". It is your body's wisdom requesting that you pay attention to whether something is healthy or toxic.

Hand and Foot Therapy

In 2005, I traveled to Thailand for an international wellness summit and the opportunity to train with traditional healers. Thai foot and hand therapies are rich in history and they reflect the engaging customs of the region. Common courtesy should be used in any society but in Thailand it plays a key role and is a refreshing shift from the animated protocols of the western spa. Thai people live more in the moment with infectious enjoyment and services given with great respect and hospitality. This is reflected in the ritual of foot bathing that is customary before every treatment.
