The Season of Smooth

Michelle D'Allaird-Brenner Michelle D'Allaird-Brenner

Oh how I love this time of year! I’m not sure where you are, but here in the Northeast, the month of July is what we wait the entire year for! Yes, we pretty much get one month of summer. It’s hot, humid, and brilliantly sunny and beautiful – love it!

It’s also probably the number one month for hair removal services. Bikini bodies are what everyone wants (or at least hairless bodies). There are two things to keep in mind during the summer season of minimal clothing and even less body hair: superior service is first and second is a hair removal plan for the year.

Superior service should always be at the top of your service objectives, but especially during this time of year, since post-hair removal skin is not easily covered up. Your hair removal focus needs to be proper preparation and amazing post-care. Regardless of the hair removal method, pre- and post-care will always determine the superiority of the outcome (along with technique). Ensure that you have quality products to get the job done. Pre-care products should remove debris, but also prepare the skin to minimize a post reaction. Your post product should instantly minimize the inflammatory response and calm and soothe the skin, leaving clients with beach-ready bodies.

As important as the quality of your service is, the big picture here is a hair removal treatment plan. As I am sure all of you hair removal experts know, the reality is that true hair removal should happen when hair is allowed to grow a bit (unless it is laser) but requires multiple treatments to really take effect. The idea is to have the hair virtually non-existent by the time the summer months arrive.

So, get through this lovely weather with superior service, and put in place a hair removal plan for the next several months. This time next year, there will be no hair anywhere!
