Red Mountain Resort

Written by

Red Mountain Resort in St. George, Utah has wellness in its DNA. Voted “#1 Destination Spa” by Travel & Leisure World’s Best Awards 2012 Reader’s Survey, Red Mountain is situated among the red rocks of Southern Utah. Accommodations include 82 rooms, 24 villa suites and a plethora of activities which include hiking, fitness programs and cooking classes featuring wholesome spa cuisine by executive chef Chad Leuthje. In 2009, Red Mountain dropped spa from its name to rebrand itself as a full service adventure resort with a goal of catering more to a male clientele. These days, Red Mountain Resort has something for everyone.

The Sagestone Spa & Salon at Red Mountain Resort views the body as a gateway to healing on all levels. The resort’s savvy clients expect results from their spa treatments and want to know what effects the treatments will have on their bodies. The Melting Honey Hot Stones Treatment, one of the resort’s nature inspired treatments, begins with a relaxing foot soak followed by a melting honey massage using warm slate and marble stones that are shaped to fit different areas of the body to drain, soothe and energize. The treatment promotes lymphatic drainage, increases circulation and removes toxins from the body. $165
